The Code Enforcement Officer responds to complaints or concerns related to zoning and general county code issues, including but not limited to: property nuisance, outdoor storage, vehicle parking, abandoned vehicles, public health, home occupations, development regulations, illegal dumping, and inappropriately placed or displayed signs.
The mission of Code Enforcement is to promote a safe, healthy and friendly environment for all residents of Minnehaha County to live in. This is accomplished through effective enforcement of all applicable Federal, State, and County Ordinances, regulations and laws.
