Commissioner Joe Kippley

Minnehaha County Logo Commissioner Kippley has served on the Minnehaha County Commission since January 2023. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame, a Juris Doctorate from the University of South Dakota, and a Master of Health Administration from the University of Iowa. Commissioner Kippley currently works as the Public Health Director for the City of Sioux Falls.

Commissioner Kippley has served on the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire Board of Directors, the Bishop O’Gorman Catholic Schools Foundation Board of Trustees, and the City of Sioux Falls Districting Commission.
